Who we are

My name is Misha Pochuev, I am the founder and currently the sole artist @ True Story Photography! 

 In my past, I used to be a photojournalist, having covered a few historical events that are still sending shockwawes around the world. This experience gave me a new perspective on life, because when you experienced the harsh side, you start appreciate simple things a lot more: clean water, people smiling at you while walking their dogs, couples celebrating their love under the peaceful sky.

 While wedding photography may not earn a spot in publications like Time or The Guardian, I’ve come to realize its immense enduring value. These photos hold immesurable sentimental worth and are cherished far beyond the fleeting news cycle. For me, it is incredibly rewarding to know that my work will become a part of someone’s history, even if it’s just for a single family.

With me on the photo is my wife Veronika who is my support, my inspiration and my only partner. (checking out Portofino together for prospect destination wedding locations). We are passionate travellers, parents and coffee lovers.
